Who we are
Glowlarp is run by Shantanu Mishra, an individual developer based in India ("we", "us"). Contact: glowlarp.app@gmail.com.
Who can use Glowlarp
You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for keeping your Apple or Google sign-in secure and for what happens in your account.
What Glowlarp does
Glowlarp analyses your selfie with AI, suggests haircuts that may suit your face, and shows them on your own photo. The face analysis and report are free. Try-on images use Looks.
Looks and purchases
Looks are in-app credits. 1 Look = 1 try-on image.
You buy Looks as one-time packs through the App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
Looks are not money. They have no cash value, can't be transferred or sold, and can't be exchanged for cash. Looks do not expire.
A one-time discount offer may be shown once per person. We may change or end offers at any time.
If a try-on fails, the Look is returned to your balance automatically.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies. We can't issue refunds directly for store purchases.
If you delete your account, your unused Looks are lost and can't be restored.
Your photos
Only upload photos of yourself. Never upload a photo of another person, or of anyone under 18.
You keep all rights to your photos. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide Glowlarp to you, for example to analyse them and create your try-on images.
We don't use your photos for advertising, and we don't share them except with the service providers named in our Privacy Policy.
AI results
Suggestions and try-on images are created by AI. They are a preview, not a promise of how a real haircut will look.
AI can make mistakes, for example a wrong face shape, an unrealistic image, or a cut that doesn't suit your hair type. Talk to a professional stylist before a big change.
Glowlarp gives style suggestions only. It is not medical, dermatological or professional advice.
If a result is wrong or offensive, report it to glowlarp.app@gmail.com.
What you must not do
Upload photos of other people, of minors, or photos you have no right to use.
Use Glowlarp to create sexual, hateful, harassing or misleading images, or images that pretend to be a real person.
Copy, reverse-engineer or resell the app, or use bots to access it.
Break the law or anyone else's rights.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Our app
The app, its design, text and images (other than your own photos) belong to us. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial use. Your try-on images are yours to keep and share for personal use.
Other services
Glowlarp relies on Apple, Google, Convex, Clerk, RevenueCat and Google's Gemini API. Their own terms apply to your use of their services.
Ending your use
You can stop using Glowlarp and delete your account at any time: Settings → Delete Account. We may stop offering Glowlarp, or part of it, with reasonable notice where the law requires it.
Disclaimers and liability
Glowlarp is provided "as is". We don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that its results will be accurate.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions you make based on the app's suggestions (for example, a haircut you didn't like).
Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that can't be excluded.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to use your own courts.
Apple App Store
If you downloaded Glowlarp from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple's standard EULA) also applies. Apple is not responsible for Glowlarp or its support, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will tell you in the app before it applies. If you keep using Glowlarp after that, you accept the new terms.
